Mr Razvi is accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists as well as the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and has over 20 years of experience as a colposcopist. He is the Clinical Lead for the colposcopy service in the NHS. He provides Colposcopy services from East London (Spire Roding Hospital) to Brentwood (Nuffield Brentwood) and Southend (Spire Wellesley Hospital).
He has extensive experience in managing complex colposcopy problems and is a certified cancer surgeon for gynaecological cancers. He offers many options for both surgical and non-surgical management of Colposcopy related conditions like CIN.
The treatments and assessments associated with colposcopy which he offers include the following:
- Biopsy of the cervix for diagnosis
- Loop excision of the cervix (LLETZ)
- Cone Biopsy
- Laser treatments for warts and vaginal lesions
- Cryotherapy (freezing of skin lesions)
- Cold coagulation (destruction of lesions using a heated probe)
- Diathermy ablation of lesions
- Surgery for cervical cancer and other cervical and vulva/ vaginal lesions
- Non-surgical treatments of lesions including pre-cancer, warts etc.
Mr Razvi has extensive experience of management of precancerous skin conditions, warts and other skin changes in the vagina, vulva and anal area and provides colposcopy examination of these areas as well. He has been trained in the use of various techniques to remove these lesions in these areas including the laser.
